ATS Intercoolers increase air density and lower firing pressure minimizing stress levels on the engine.

The ATS SubZero intercooler is placed in the airflow path between the turbocharger and the engine intake in order to cool the air after it has been compressed by the turbo. When the turbo compresses the air, it's ambient temperature rises by up to 350º. The SubZero Intercooler utilizes heat exchange technology to cool this compressed air, creating a more dense airflow into the intake of your engine. This means more air molecules go into the cylinder and, when mixed with the proper amount of fuel, increases engine power, giving you better performance and better fuel economy.

ATS Diesel Performance ("ATS") sells replacement parts designed to improve a diesel engine's efficiency and reliability. Some states, specifically California, have strict regulations applicable to parts that you may legally use on your diesel truck. Be sure to review applicable municipal, state, and federal rules before you purchase and install an ATS product to make sure you are in compliance.
ATS also designs and manufactures certain parts for off-road and race use only. These parts are not intended for sale in any state, including California, where the items do not comply with local rules.
