Diesels On The Mountain/Truck Fest 2007

"One of the largest truck shows in the country!"

July 20th through the 22nd featured an open house and onsite filming/install with the Two Guys Garage Television show. Bandimere Speedway in Morrison Colorado then provided the venue for two days of high-powered excitement as diesel trucks hit the track to lay down some rubber and throw out some smoke.

Featured again this year was the Cummins Racing - ATS Diesel/Valvoline Premium Blue powered dragster of Scott and Dustin Bentz. This modified rail is propelled down the track by a Cummins ISB motor and was the first diesel dragster to make a 7 second quarter mile pass, doing so on BlueSun biodiesel! The Two Guys Garage TV crew was on-hand, as well as some of the hottest magazines such as: Diesel Power, Diesel World, Diesel Tech and Performance Business.

All kinds of diesel truck owners brought their truck to the event and weighed their skills against other bracket racers, and enjoyed watching the action and checking out the vendor midway. The truck pull featured diesel pickup drivers pitting their skill and pulling power against a 40,000 lb. sled determined to make them stop on Bandimere's 1st ever pull track!

The first portion of the day will be open to dealers of ATS and will cover details on new products and technical related issues. Dealers will get to have product and install-related questions answered by ATS staff.

In the afternoon ATS will open to the public and the crew from Two Guys Garage TV (SPEED Channel) will film an episode of the show while performing an installation of a debut product!

Diesel Drag Racing Event
Vendors with products and services exclusively for diesels.

Multiple bracket classes open to any diesel-powered pick-up, plus the heads-up ATS Top Diesel Shootout open to any diesel-powered vehicle. Trophies and Cash to top finishers.

What makes this different from Sunday, is the generous payouts provided by ATS Diesel Performance for all of the bracket classes, and the lone heads-up, run-what-ya-brung / anything goes / winner-take-all class. This day will be part of the DHRA points series! (DieselPower! Diesel Additives Drag Racing Series, West - ET/QD/PS)

Event run in conjunction with the Quaker State E.T. Series - enjoy watching the best racers in the region competing at 170 mph between diesel runs, or visit the manufacturer's midway.

Drag Racing Classes
-2WD Street Truck Eliminator and 4WD Street Truck Eliminator
Must be street-legal, no electronics, slicks & open exhaust permitted. Trophies begin in quarterfinals.

-Pro Truck Eliminator
Open to any type of truck. Cash prizes begin in the semifinals. Trophies to the finalists.

-Big Truck Eliminator
Open to any tractor, farm or dump trucks. Cash prizes in semifinals. Trophies begin in quarterfinals.

-ATS Diesel Truck Eliminator
Open to all diesel powered pick-ups. Cash prizes and trophies beginning semifinals. Low qualifier bonus from ATS Diesel Performance.

-Smokiest Burnout Contest
The contest will see who can create the smokiest burnout! (one minute time limit).

An additional $5 will be collected in staging lanes from participants to benefit the "Race-to-Read"® program, Bandimere Speedway's race-themed reading program. This is limited to the first 15 contestants. Truck Show
